The Medea at the Richmond Shepard Theatre



Wide Eyed Productions presents The Medea, by Euripides, translated by Gilbert Murray, at the Richmond Shepard Theatre from 6 - 18 Nov 2007.

The Medea: Tells the story of the jealousy and revenge of a woman betrayed by her husband. She has left home and father for Jason's sake, and he, after she has borne him children, forsakes her, and betroths himself to Glauce, the daughter of Creon, ruler of Corinth.

Directed by Kristin Skye Hoffmann, The Medea features Amy Lee Pearsall (Medea), Sky Seals (Jason), Justin Ness (Creon), Liz White (Nurse), Andrew Harriss (Attendant), Trevor Dallier (Messenger), Ben Newman (Aegeus), Melissa Johnson (Child), Sage Seals (Child) and Sarah Flanagan (Glauce).
