The Lucille Lortel 2008 nominations, correction anounced.


The League Of Off-broadway Theatres & Producers have announced the nominations for the 23rd Annual 2008 Lucille Lortel Awards for outstanding achievement Off-broadway.

Adding Machine leads With 6 nominations, followed by Blackbird with four nominations.

The winners of the 2008 Lucille Lortel Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony on the 5 May 2007 at the Union Square Theatre.

Three special awards will also be presented at the ceremony:

  • Edith Oliver Award for Sustained Excellence: Theodore Mann
  • Outstanding Body of Work: Primary Stages
  • Unique Theatrical Experience: Horizon, Produced by New York Theatre Workshop

Awarded since 1986, the Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the League by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Foundation. Additional support is provided by Theatre Development Fund.
