The Flood at Chernuchin Theatre


Prospect Theater Company presents the first production of their sixth New York City season The Flood, a musical with book, music and lyrics by Peter Mills & Cara Reichel, at American Theatre of Actors's Chernuchin Theatre from 21 Oct - 19 Nov 1006.

The Flood: About one community's struggle against the rising tide of the Mississippi River that would wipe it off the map. The story looks for meaning in cycles of devastation and rebirth, and finds that even in the wake of tragedy there are things that float.

Directed by Cara Reichel, The Flood features A'lisa D. Miles (River), Jamie Davis (Alice), Jennifer Blood (Rosemary), Catherine Porter (Susan), Jonathan Rayson (Curtis), Drew Poling (Ezekiel), Joseph O'Brien (Keller), and Matt DeAngelis (Raleigh).

The ensemble includes: Joe Bergquist, Victoria Budonis, Nick Cartell, Deborah Grausman, Carol Hickey, Greg Horton, Dan Housek, Suzanne Houston, Amy Hutchins, Roxann Kraemer, Jean McCormick, Michael Pesce, Zachary Prince, Daniel Scott Richards, Zachary Wobensmith, and Erica Wright..

Set Design by Kanae Heike, with costumes by Sidney J. Shannon, lighting by Gina Scherr and sound by Shannon Slaton.
