The Family Fiorelli at the TBG Theatre
The Family Fiorelli, book & lyrics by Fred Anthony Marco and music by Alastair William King, opening at TBG Theatre on 28 Sep 07, following a preview on 27 Sep and running through to 6 Oct 2007, as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival.
Set in Long Island, the story centers around the winemaking Fiorelli family, Benno and Lidia and their two sons, Martin, a teenager with a mild case of cerebral palsy and Antonio, a nine year old wine prodigy. Benno, obsessed with creating a prize-winning vintage, has been neglecting his marriage. Lidia, unable to communicate her frustrations, finds herself drawn to Martin�s karate instructor, the young, handsome, and charismatic, Father Michael. Simultaneously, Lidia�s pregnant lesbian sister, Celeste and her partner Carla are coming to terms with building a family and legalizing their relationship.

Directed by Robert Bartley and choreographed by Jessica Redish, The Family Fiorelli features: Sy Adamowsky, Frank Anderson, Harrison Chad, Brad Coolidge, Emily Kate Fox, Daria Hardeman, Adrianne Hick, Kevin Reed, Matthew Robert and Kathryn Quinlan.
