The Brain from Planet X at the Acorn Theatre

Kritzerland, Inc presents The Brain from Planet X - book by David Wechter & Bruce Kimmel, music and lyrics by Bruce Kimmel - a musical comedy at Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre from 20 - 30 Sep 2007, as part of the New York Musical Theater Festival.

The Brain from Planet X tells the story of an alien invasion circa 1958. A Brain and its two alien cohorts, Zubrick and Yoni, arrive on Earth to take over the San Fernando Valley --starting with the happy nuclear family, the Bunsons. It's the first step on the road to their quest of taking over the entire planet and to destroying the family unit.

Directed by Bruce Kimmel and choreographed by Adam Cates, The Brain from Planet X features Amy Bodnar, Benjamin Clark, Rob Evan, Merrill Grant, Naomi Kakuk, Steve Luker, Cason Murphy, Barry Pearl, Alet Taylor, Chad Harlow, Joe Jackson, Denise Payne, Erin Webley, Paul Downs Colaizzo and Steve Wenslawski.

The design team comprises Heather Wolensky (sets), Jessa-raye Court (costumes), Jay Scott (lighting) and Sara Even (sound).
