Thu 23 Oct 2003 Susan Egan extends to end of the run of Cabaret to 4 Jan 2004 Susan Egan as 'Sally Bowles' has extended through the end of the run of Cabaret, which closes at Studio 54 on 4 Jan 2004. As of that date, Cabaret will have played 37 previews and 2,378 performances. Katrina Yaukey will play Sally Bowles from Monday, October 27 through Sunday evening, November 2 while Susan Egan performs concert engagements in Costa Mesa, California. Susan Egan co-stars with Adam Pascal as the Emcee, Blair Brown as Fraulein Schneider, Tony Roberts as Herr Schultz, Rick Holmes as Clifford Bradshaw, Liz McConahay as Fraulein Kost and Martin Moran as Ernst Ludwig. This Donmar Warehouse production was presented by Roundabout Theater Company at Studio 54 from 13 Feb 1998. The show has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and book by Joe Masteroff. It is directed by Sam Mendes and choreographed by Rob Marshall. Cabaret, the Tony Award-winning revival, tells the story of an English woman's romance with an American writer set against the background of the crumbling Germany at the start of the Third Reich.
