Striking 12 at Daryl Roth


Nancy Nagel Gibbs presents Striking 12, opening at the Daryl Roth Theatre on 12 Nov 2006, following previews from 8 Nov and running through to 31 Dec 2006.

Striking 12: The story of a Grumpy Guy who decides to avoid the hectic, loveless world on New Year's Eve, until he�s visited by an incandescent salesgirl with the promise to chase away his winter doldrums.

Directed by Ted Sperling, Striking 12 features Indie pop-rock band GrooveLily: Valerie Vigoda, Brendan Milburn and Gene Lewin.

The musical comedy is written by Brendan Milburn (book, music and lyrics), Rachel Sheinkin (book and lyrics) and Valerie Vigoda (book, music and lyrics).

The score features songs such as 'Visions in the Matchlight,' 'Give the Drummer Some,' 'Caution to the Wind' and 'Screwed-Up People Make Great Art.'

Striking 12 has set design by David Korins, with costumes by Tobin Ost, lighting by Michael Gilliam and sound by Rob Killenberger.
