Southern Comforts Larry Keith replaces William Biff McGuire. New dates scheduled


Primary Stages has announced that due to a back injury William Biff McGuire has withdrawn from the New York premiere of Southern Comforts by Kathleen Clark. Larry Keith will assume the role of Gus.

Consequently Southern Comforts has rescheduled and will now open at 59E59's Theater A on the 18 Oct 2006, following previews from 26 Sep and will run through to 4 Nov 2006. The show was originally announced to run from 19 Sep - 28 Oct 2006.

Southern Comforts: Some people need continuous change in order to feel vital and alive. Others are terrified of unsettling the peace that they have established. A widow and widower who meet laterin life find a way into each other's hearts.

Directed by Judith Ivey, Southern Comforts features Penny Fuller and Larry Keith.

Set design is by Thomas Lynch, with costumes by Joseph G. Aulisi, lighting by Brian Nason and sound by T. Richard Fitzgerald.
