Sive exends its run by two weeks
The Irish Repertory Theater company has extended its production of John B. Keane's Sive, by two weeks. The play will now run through to 25 Nov 2007 at the Irish Repertory Theater.
Sive opened at the Irish Repertory Theater on 27 Sep 2007, following previews from 20 Sep, for a run that was originally scheduled to end on 11 Nov 2007.
Against the backdrop of 1950's rural Ireland, Sive tells the tale of a beautiful young schoolgirl forced into an arranged marriage with a rich and lecherous old man.
Directed by Ciar�n O�Reilly, Sive features James Barry, Donie Carroll, Terry Donnelly, Patrick Fitzgerald, Christopher Joseph Jones, Aidan Redmond, Wrenn Schmidt, Mark Thornton and Fiana Toibin.
The design team comprises Charles Corcoran (sets), Martha Hally (costumes) and Jason Lyons (lighting).
