Shortened Attention Span One Act Festival at the Players Theatre Loft

The first Shortened Attention Span One Act Festival will present twenty shows under twenty minutes by 18 different authors presented over four weeks at the Players Theatre Loft from 14 Jun - 8 Jul 2007.

Every performance will include 5 plays (see schedule below). Each play will be seen 5 times during the Festival. Every week the audience favorite will receive a $100 prize.

Festival producers Rivieccio and Benanti said: "We felt that the short form is greatly under represented, especially in the summer theatre festivals in NYC, so we decided to create a festival that celebrates the short play. Our shows cover a wide range of topics from romance stories to diva penguins to war plays to talking sirloins. We wanted a little of every type of genre to be represented in the Festival."
