Adapted from Josefina López's 1990 play and the 2002 HBO film starring America Ferrera, and featuring songs from Latin Grammy Award winner Joy Huerta and Benjamin Velez, Real Women Have Curves is a joyous coming-of-age story set in Los Angeles. There, ambitious teenager Ana must choose between pursuing her own dreams of college and a career in New York City or staying with her immigrant family and working at their dress factory.
