Mon 22 Dec 2003 "Same Train" at UNDER St. Marks from 21 Feb 2004 Horse Trade Theater Group presents The John Montgomery Theatre Company's production of Same Train by Levy Lee Simon , Mary Beth Easley, Mark Bruckner, at UNDER St. Marks, 94 St. Marks Place (Off Broadway) from 21 Feb to 8 Mar 2004 Directed by Nicki H.J. Stdm, the cast includes Henry Afro-Bradley, Nicoye Banks, Mark Bruckner, Thaddeus Daniels, Kami Williams. A multi-cultural work, which fuses song, movement, and virtuoso storytelling together with the sounds and rhythms of hip-hop, the angular improvisations of bebop, the soul of R & B, and the spirit of the blues. These emotionally charged musical and poetic forms intersect in unexpected ways to share the struggles and triumphs of 7 individuals, within the 'Black Diaspora.'
