Relativity at the Ensemble Studio Theatre

Ensemble Studio Theatre presents Relativity, by Cassandra Medley, opening at the Ensemble Studio Theatre on the 30 Apr 2006, following previews from the 25 Apr and running through to the 14 May 2006.

Relativity: For Claire, a lifetime of work and dedication as a leading melanin scientist (those who believe people of color are genetically superior, due to higher concentrations of melanin) is culminating in a new book: a collaboration with her daughter Kalima. But Kalima�s research in molecular genetics is leading her away from her mother�s theories�and to greater success. Forced to choose between science and family, between her future and her history, Kalima must decide where her loyalty lies.

Relativity is directed by Christopher Scott, and has set design and lighting by Maruti Evans, costumes by Clint Ramos and sound by Graham Johnson.
