A new Off-Broadway show is in Bloom! Multi-award-winning comedian Rachel Bloom will premiere her new one-woman musical comedy show, Death, Let Me Do My Show, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre this fall. Performances run from September 6-30 only.

Death, Let Me Do My Show, directed by Seth Barrish (Mike Birbiglia: The Old Man and the Pool), is a show that's "definitely NOT about the ever-present spectre of death" or the ways in which the Covid-19 pandemic changed Bloom's personal life.

Bloom previously performed Death, Let Me Do My Show in cities including London, Boston, and Chicago. The New York production features set design by Beowulf Boritt, lighting design by Aaron Copp, projection design by Hana S. Kim, music direction by Jerome Kurtenbach, and costume design by Kristin Isola.

Bloom is best known as the co-creator, executive producer, and star of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, a musical comedy-drama series that ran from 2015 to 2019. Her work earned her Emmy, Golden Globe, and Critics Choice Awards. She has also appeared on TV series including Reboot and Julia. She makes her Off-Broadway debut with Death, Let Me Do My Show.
