Purple Hearts at the Gene Frankel Theatre

Invisible City Theatre Company presents Purple Hearts, by Burgess Clark, at the Gene Frankel Theatre from 5 - 22 Sep 2007.

Purple Hearts: Based on real events surrounding the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the U.S.S. West Virginia on December 7, 1941. For as long as three weeks after the attack, sailors survived aboard the sunken battleship waiting to be rescued. At the bottom of the sea, trapped under impossible conditions, they struggle to keep hope - and themselves - alive.

Directed by David Epstein, Purple Hearts features Ryan Serhant, Dan Patrick Brady, Anneka Fagundes, Rebecca White, Cecilla Frontero and Kevin T. Collins. Set design by Elisha Schaefer, with costumes by Jennifer Raskopf, lighting by Joe W. Novak and sound by Peter Wood.
