Primary Stages anoounce their 2006 - 2007 season
The Roundabout Theatre Company have announced four plays for its 2006-2007 season, the company's 41st season : Heartbreak House by George Bernard Shaw, 110 In The Shade by Harvey Schmidt, Tom Jones and N. Richard Nash, Howard Katz by Patrick Marber and The Home Place by Brian Friel.
- Heartbreak House by George Bernard Shaw and sarring Philip Bosco as Captain Shotover.
Synopsis: Follows the unlikely romantic encounters that occur in an estate on the English countryside. Romance springs ever eternal but never mutual, and the only stable marriages have the least to do with love.
Dates: tba (Winter 2007).
Venue: American Airlines Theatre. - 110 In The Shade, a musical by by Harvey Schmidt, Tom Jones and N. Richard Nash, directed by Lonny Price and starring Audra McDonald as Lizzie Curry.
Synopsis: In 110 in the Shade, the mercurial Starbuck promises rain for a drought-stricken town and passion for the stalwart but resigned Lizzie.

Venue: Studio 54. - Howard Katz, by Patrick Marber, directed by Doug Hughes and starring Alfred Molina as Howard Katz.
Synopsis: About a once powerful, hard-as-nails talent agent now down on his luck. Marber traces the story of the mighty Katz through dream-like flashbacks, capturing a man in freefall, yet determinedly clinging to life.

Venue: Laura Pels Theatre. - The Home Place, by Brian Friel and directed by Joe Dowling.
Synopsis: The widowed Christopher Gore, his son David and the woman they are both in love with, their housekeeper Margaret, live in The Lodge in Ballybeg. The year is 1878, but in this era of unrest at the dawn of Home Rule, the seemingly serene life enjoyed at The Lodge is threatened by the arrival of Christopher�s English cousin, who unwittingly ignites deep animosity among the villagers of Ballybeg.
