Port Authority Throw Down at 45 Below

The Working Theater presents Port Authority Throw Down, written by Mike Batistick and directed by Connie Grappo, opening at 45 Below on 26 Oct 2006, following previews from 20 Oct and running through to 18 Nov 2006.

Port Authority Throw Down: Follows a Pakistani cab driver as he struggles to understand why his brother, a Port Authority newspaper salesman, has been taken away by the authorities. The play brings together the two Pakistani brothers, a homeless alcoholic and a Christian missionary from Akron, Ohio in a social, racial and religious clash of cultures at the crossroads of the world. The play challenges our notions of humanity and homeland security in a post 9/11 New York City.
