'Plaza Suite' to host digital lottery on TodayTix
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick star in Neil Simon's play.
Make your reservations for Plaza Suite! The revival of Neil Simon's farce, starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, will host a digital lottery on TodayTix throughout its Broadway run. After being delayed for two years amid the pandemic, Plaza Suite begins performances at the Hudson Theatre on February 25 ahead of a March 28 opening.
The TodayTix Plaza Suite lottery offers a limited number of $39 tickets for every performance. Entrants can download the TodayTix app in order to enter the lottery. Starting February 28, the lottery will open for entries at midnight every Monday for that week's performances. The lottery for each performance will close four hours before it begins.
Winners will be notified right after the lottery closes, and they will have 30 minutes to pay for their tickets through the TodayTix app. The tickets will be held at Hudson Theatre's box office for pickup beginning one hour before showtime.
The lottery is currently open for the first three performances: the evening performance on Friday, February 25 and both performances on Saturday, February 26.
Plaza Suite is a comedic play in three acts, all set in Suite 719 of New York's Plaza Hotel. Broderick and Parker play a different couple occupying the suite in each act: a long-married couple who have lost their romance, a pair of old flames rekindling their love, and parents whose daughter has locked herself in the bathroom on their wedding day. Parker and Broderick first performed the show in Boston in 2020, and the 2022 production marks the first time the real-life couple has shared the Broadway stage since How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 1995.
