Playwrights Horizons has announced complete casting for the world premiere of a new romantic comedy Indian Summer, written by Gregory S. Moss and directed by Carolyn Cantor, which will begin previews at the Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater on 13 May 2016, before an official opening on 8 June and a limited engagement through to 26 June 2016.

The cast of Indian Summer includes Owen Campbell (Daniel), Tony nominee Jonathan Hadary (George), Elise Kibler (Izzy) and Joe Tippett (Jeremy).

Synopsis: "Abandoned by his wayward mom, Daniel is consigned to spend summer with granddad in a Rhode Island beach town, where the locals don't look kindly on city kids. But his hapless vacation turns around when he meets Izzy: tough-acting, back-sassing, beguiling and taken. Greg Moss's feisty romantic comedy follows a passing fling that could last a lifetime - as impossible and charmed as an indian summer."

The creative team behind Indian Summer has also been announced and features scenic design by Dane Laffrey, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Eric Southern and sound design by Stowe Nelson.

Indian Summer marks the sixth and final production of Playwrights Horizons' 2015-2016 off-Broadway season.
