Our Town: David Cromer returns as 'Stage Manager'



David Cromer returns to the the central role of �Stage Manager� on 19 Jun 2009, in the Off-Broadway production of� Thornton Wilder�s Our Town, which the Obie award-wining Cromer also directs.

Comer departed the company on 1 May 2009 to honor a prior commitment. Scott Parkinson stepped into the role during Cromer's absence.

Our Town opened at the Barrow Street Theatre from 26 Feb 2009, following previews from 17 Feb and is currently booking through to 27 Sep 2009.

The show opened to mostly positive reviews: "modest but highly rewarding" (NY Times); 'riveting new production' (NY Daily News); 'wonderful' (NY Post); "Astonishingly reinvented" (AP).

The current cast of Our Town features Jeremy Beiler as 'Sam Craig,' Rob Beitzel as 'Howie Newsome,' Kati Brazda as 'Mrs. Webb,' George Demas as 'Constable Warren,' Donna Jay Fulks as 'Mrs. Soames,' Jennifer Grace as 'Emily,' Wilbur Edwin Henry as 'Professor Willard,' Adam Hinkle as 'Joe Crowell,' Ronete Levenson as 'Rebecca Gibbs,' James McMenamin as 'George,' Ken Marks as 'Editor Webb,' Jonathan Mastro as 'Simon Stimson,' Seamus Mulcahy as 'Wally Webb,' Lori Myers as 'Mrs. Gibbs,' Jay Russell as 'Joe Stoddard,' Jeff Still as 'Doc Gibbs,' Jason Yachanin as 'Si Crowell' and David Cromer as the Stage Manager.

The creative team for Our Town features Michele Spadaro (set design and props), Alison Siple (costume design) and Heather Gilbert (lighting design).
