Producers of The Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of On The Twentieth Century have now announced additional casting for the musical. Joining previously announced Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth and Golden Globe winner and Tony nominee Peter Gallagher, as Lily Garland and Oscar Jaffee, will be Tony nominee Andy Karl as Bruce Granit, Mark Linn-Baker as Oliver Webb, Tony Award winner Michael McGrath as Owen O'Malley and Tony Award winner Mary Louise Wilson as Letitia Primrose.

On The Twentieth Century begins previews at the American Airlines Theatre on 12 February 2015, before officially opening on 12 March and playing a limited engagement through to 5 July 2015.

On The Twentieth Century is a musical comedy set aboard a luxury coach travelling from Chicago to New York City. Bankrupt theatre producer Oscar Jaffe attempts to cajole the glamorous Hollywood icon Lily Garland into playing the lead in his brand new, and currently non-existent, epic drama. Will the train ride be long enough to re-ignite the passion between the former lovers, write a play from scratch as well as finding the money to get the show to the Great White Way?

The musical features music by CY Coleman and book and lyrics by Betty Comden & Adolph Green and is based on plays by Ben Hecht, Charles MacArthur and Bruce Mullholland.

Roundabout Associate Artistic Director Scott Ellis will collaborate once again with choreographer Warren Carlyle following their successful 2012 production of 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood'. The production will feature set design by David Rockwell, costumes by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Donald Holder, and sound design by Jon Weston. Musical direction is by Kevin Stites, with orchestrations by Larry Hochman and additional arrangements by David Krane.

The original Broadway production opened at the St James Theatre in February 1978, directed by Harold Prince, where it ran for 449 performances. It won Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Book of a Musical.

Andy Karl was last seen on Broadway as Rocky Balboa in 'Rocky'. His other Broadway credits include 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood', '9 to 5', 'Legally Blonde', 'Jersey Boys', 'Wicked' and 'Saturday Night Fever'.

Mark Linn-Baker can currently be seen on Broadway in 'You Can't Take It With You' as Paul Sycamore. His other Broadway credits include 'Relatively Speaking', 'Losing Louie', 'A Year with Frog and Toad', 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum', 'Laughter on the 23rd Floor' and 'Doonesbury'.

Michael McGrath was last seen on Broadway in 'Nice Work If You Can Get It' as Cookie McGee. His other Broadway credits include 'Born Yesterday', 'Memphis', 'Is He Dead?', 'Monty Python's Spamalot', 'Wonderful Town' and 'Little Me'.

Mary Louise Wilson was last seen on Broadway as Edith Bouvier Beale in 'Grey Gardens'. Her many Broadway credits include 'The Women', 'Cabaret', 'Prelude to a Kiss', 'The Odd Couple', 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Fools', 'Gypsy' and 'Promises, Promises'.
