North American premiere of Every Brilliant Thing

The Paines Plough and Pentabus Theatre Company production of Every Brilliant Thing, written by Olivier Award nominee Duncan Macmillan, with Jonny Donahoe, will stage its North American premiere at off-Broadway's Barrow Street Theatre. An opening night is set for 14 December 2014, following previews from 6 December, and the limited engagement will close on 29 March 2015. Every Brilliant Thing is directed by George Perrin and stars Jonny Donahoe.

. Synopsis: "1. Ice cream, 2. Water fights, 3. Things with stripes, 4. Christopher Walken's voice, 5. Rollercoasters. A young boy attempts to ease his mother's depression by creating a list of all the best things in the world. Everything worth living for. Through adulthood, as the list grows, he learns the deep significance it has on his own life. Every Brilliant Thing is a new play about depression and the lengths we will go for those we love."

The production is presented off-Broadway by Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian, Tom Wirtshafter, and Patrick Daly.

Every Brilliant Thing's North American premiere follows its UK Tour, along with stints in both London and Edinburgh.
