NewYorkTheatreGuide.com relaunches website
The New York Theatre Guide (NYTG), established in October 2003, relaunches its brand-new redesign today, marking our 14th Anniversary of bringing you all the latest news, features, reviews and listings from Broadway and beyond.
Following in the footsteps of LondonTheatre.co.uk - the oldest and first dedicated London Theatre Guide on the internet - which relaunched in June 2016, NYTG once again mirrors its popular sister site in appearance and looks forward to further development as a conjoined brand. The redesign has been recognised as mobile-friendly and enables our readers an optimum experience on whichever platform they choose to visit us.
We would like to thank our loyal readers for their continued support over the years and we would like to take this opportunity to assure them that all the features from the original site have remained, whilst all efforts have been made to maintain our high levels of user-friendliness.
What's On
We continue to bring you our extensive listings of the brightest and best shows the New York theater scene has to offer. Choose between "Broadway" and "Off-Broadway" and you will find listings of all the shows CURRENTLY playing. Interested in a look ahead? By clicking on the "Opening Soon" option on the left-hand menu, you'll look to the future and find a list of all the great shows that will be heading to New York in the coming months. And if you want to catch them before they are gone, you'll find a list of all the shows with closing dates by clicking "Closing" on the left-hand menu. You can also filter our listings according to your own specific tastes by clicking on "Musicals", "Plays", or "Entertainment" (which includes dance, revues, solo shows, concerts and anything else in the world of entertainment that isn't traditionally classed as a play or a musical). If you're looking to treat the kids, you can also filter the listings to see our "Family-Friendly" recommendations.
NYTG Calendar
Our popular "Calendar" feature is particularly useful for those with planned trips to New York City. You can browse by specific days or months to see what Broadway or Off-Broadway shows are playing on your chosen dates.
