'The Notebook' tickets now available through December

The Tony Award-nominated musical, adapted from the 1996 Nicholas Sparks novel and the 2004 romance movie, opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre this spring.

The Notebook began as the debut novel by renowned romance author Nicholas Sparks. Since its 1996 release, the book has become a bestseller and spawned a film adaptation starring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling.

The musical adaptation, featuring an adapted script by 2024 Tony Award nominee Bekah Brunstetter and songs by Ingrid Michaelson, premiered in Chicago in 2022 before making its Broadway debut in February 2024. Three actors play lovers Noah and Allie at different ages in The Notebook, which tells how they found a lifetime of love despite numerous obstacles.

The current Notebook Broadway cast features John Cardoza as Younger Noah, Ryan Vasquez as Middle Noah, Dorian Harewood as Older Noah, Jordan Tyson as Younger Allie, Joy Woods as Middle Allie, and Maryann Plunkett as Older Allie.
