Murder Ballad extends run by one week

Manhatta Theatre Cluby (CSC) have announced a one week extention of their upcoming production of Julia Jordan's and Juliana Nash's musical, Murder Ballad, directed by Trip Cullman and choreographed by Doug Varone.

Murder Ballad, which is the inaugural production of MTC's The Studio at Stage II, will open on 15 Nov 2012, following previews from 30Oct 2012, and will now play through to 2 Dec 2012. The show was originally scheduled to close on 25 Nov 2012

'

A love triangle gone wrong, Murder Ballad centers on Sara (Karen Olivo), an Upper West Sider, who seems to have it all, but whose downtown past lingers enticingly and dangerously in front of her.

The creative team includes Mark Wendland (scenic design), Jessica Pabst (costume design), Ben Stanton (lighting design) and Leon Rothenberg (sound design).
