Decca Broadway's original cast recording of Monty Python�s Spamalot goes on sale today.

Spamalot, the new smash hit musical �lovingly ripped off� from the internationally famous comedy team�s most popular motion picture, 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'. The musical is playing at the Shubert Theatre and is currently booking to the 8 Jan 2006.

Produced by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, the recording features such classics as 'Always Look On The Bright Side of Life'and 'Knights of the Round Table,' as well as many new songs written for Broadway including 'The Song That Goes Like This,' performed by the show-stopping Sara Ramirez and Christopher Sieber, 'His Name Is Lancelot,' 'He is Not Dead Yet,' 'I�m All Alone,' and 'You Won�t Succeed On Broadway.'

On Monty Python�s Spamalot, Vogue magazine commented, �Eric Idle�s book and lyrics are - no surprise - hilarious. The score, written by John DuPrez is cheeky and tuneful.� The tracks listed on the recording are:

Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and their quest for the Holy Grail. The musical features a chorus line of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, killer rabbits and one legless knight.
