Menopause The Musical to close on the 14 May 2006
Menopause The Musical, the long running hit off-Broadway musical will close on the 14 May 2006.
The show had originally posted notices to close on the 23 Apr 2006, then it annouced it would t extend its run to the 30 Jun 2006. Now the curtain will fall after more than 1500 performances.
Menopause The Musical originally opened at Theater 4, on the 4 Apr 2002 and transferred to Playhouse 91 on the 27 Apr 2003.
Menopause The Musical, written and produced by Jeanie Linders, is the musical parody that chronicles the meeting of four women at a lingerie sale in Bloomingdale's fighting over a black lace bra, with nothing in common but memory loss, hot flashes, night sweats, chocolate binges, wrinkles, plastic surgery, hormones, not enough sex, too much sex, and much more.
The show stars Lynn Eldredge, Megan Thomas,Joy Lynn Matthews and Mary Jo McConnell
Menopause The Musical is directed by Kathryn Conte, with choreography by Patty Bender, set design by Bud Clark, lighting by Michael Gilliam, sound by Jeff Kling and costumes by Martha Bromelmeier.
