Matthew Broderick, Victor Garber, Brooke Shields, more to star in 'Love Letters' off Broadway
Three pairs of celebrated actors will perform the two-person show over the course of a three-week run at the Irish Repertory Theatre beginning in September.
We love this news! A.R. Gurney's Love Letters will return to the Irish Repertory Theatre this fall for a limited engagement. Performances run from September 5 to October 1.
Three pairs of actors will perform the Pulitzer-nominated two-hander about two friends, Andrew and Melissa, who correspond via letters over a lifetime. What they don't outwardly tell each other is just as revealing as what they do.
Matthew Broderick, who performed in a previous engagement of Love Letters in May opposite Laura Benanti, now stars opposite Talia Balsam. They perform from September 5-8. J. Smith Cameron and Victor Garber star from September 19-24, and Brooke Shields and John Slattery perform from September 27 to October 1.
Ciarán O’Reilly, producing director of Irish Rep, directs the show.
