Wed 21 Jan 2004 "Match" by Stephen Belber, at Plymouth Theatre from 12 Mar 2004 Match , by Stephen Belber, will open at the Plymouth Theatre on Broadway, 8 April 2004, following previews from 12 March 2004. The cast includes Frank Langella , Ray Liotta. It is directed by Nicholas Martin, designed by James Noone, lighting by Brian MacDevitt, costumes by Michael Krass, and produced by The Araca Group and East of Doheny. A husband and wife arrive on the doorstep of a once renowned dancer to interview him about his past. By night's end what they have learned will change them all forever. FRANK LANGELLA Broadway credits include: Fortune's Fool, Seascape, Passion, Amadeus, The Father, Hurlyburly, Present Laughter, Design for Living and A Christmas Carol. He is the recipient of two Tonys, five Drama Desks, three Obies, the Drama League Award and several Outer Critics Awards. Films include Dracula, Lolita, The Ninth Gate, Small Soldiers, Dave and his two debut films, Diary of a Mad Housewife and The Twelve Chairs. On television he starred in the ABC series "The Beast" and in three Great Performance specials for PBS: "The Seagull," "The Prince of Homburg" and "Eccentricities of a Nightingale." He has been honored with the National Society of Film Critics' Award, the Cable Ace Award, two Golden Globe nominations and an Emmy nomination. RAY LIOTTA Film credits include: Goodfellas; Field of Dreams; Something Wild (Golden Globe nomination); Dominick and Eugene; Identity, Corrina, Corrina; Heartbreakers; Hannibal; Unlawful Entry, No Escape, Blow, John Q and Rumor of Angels among others. Television: Frank Sinatra in HBO's 'The Rat Pack'(Screen Actors Guild nomination). Liotta recently founded Tiara Blu Productions which premiered the film Narc at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival, and was released by Paramount. Liotta was nominated for an IFP Award for Best Actor for his performance.
