Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me Nicole Parker returns for the show's final two weeks.

Original cast member Nicole Parker returns to the Broadway musical comedy Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me for the shows final two weeks, from 26 Dec - 7 Jan.

Nicole Parker left the show on 1 Sep 2006 to return to the late night sketch comedy show MADtv, which airs on Fox. She was replaced by Donna Vivino, who makes her last performance in the musical on the 24 Dec 2006.

Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me opened at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on the 17 Aug 2006, following previews from the 29 Jul 2006. When the show closes it will have played 22 previews and 165 regular performances.

Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me begins with Martin Short and company singing the exuberant "Party with Marty," launching what he intends to be a celebration of his "fabulous, perfect life." Very quickly, it becomes clear the audience - addicted to Oprah and "Behind the Music" - expects scandal and angst from their star. Lacking any in his own life, Short frantically modifies his life story as he and the cast tell it, adding the requisite struggle, pain and psychobabble to fabricate an increasingly hilarious alternative autobiography.

The cast for Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, directed by Scott Wittman, also features Martin Short, Brooks Ashmanskas, Mary Birdsong, Capathia Jenkins and Marc Shaiman.

The Broadway musical has showcased special guest stars: Jerry Seinfeld, Bette Midler, Steve Martin, Conan O'Brien, Jon Stewart, Ben Stiller, Kathleen Turner, Neil Simon, Nathan Lane, David Hasselhoff, Jimmy Fallon, Regis Philbin, Jerry Springer, Kristin Chenoweth, Bernadette Peters, Rosie O'Donnell, Martha Stewart, and Larry King.

The musical has set design by Scott Pask, costumes by Jess Goldstein and sound by Peter Hylenski.

Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me is conceived by Martin Short, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, it features a book by Martin Short and Daniel Goldfarb, music by Marc Shaiman and lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman.

The musical is produced on Broadway by Becker Zeiger Entertainment, Harbor Entertainment and Roy Furman.
