The Ask is set in an Upper West Side apartment where a meeting between progressive donor Greta (Henner) and ACLU fundraiser Tanner (Purser) erupts into a battle of wills.
Five-time Golden Globe nominee Henner (Taxi) returns to the stage after starring in numerous Broadway shows like Chicago, Grease, and Gettin' The Band Back Together. Emmy-nominated Stranger Things TV star Purser makes her New York stage debut with The Ask.
The production will have set design by Craig Napoliello, costume design by Nicole Wee, lighting design by Venus Gulbranson, and sound design by Ben Scheff.
The Ask previously ran in New York at the Wild Project to critical acclaim. Time Out New York's critic called it "an entertaining and empathetic examination of generational and philosophical differences that divide the political left” in a four-star review.
