Manhattan Theatre Club announce four plays of their 2005-2006 season
Manhattan Theatre Club have announced four of the productions for its 2005-2006 season, including two shows on Broadway at the Biltmore Theatre and two productions at MTC�s Off-Broadway theatres at NY City Center.
MTC�s 2005-2006 season of seven plays will include a world premiere play by David Lindsay-Abaire, and the New York premiere of a play by Nilo Cruz, as well as new productions of plays by Lanford Wilson and Alan Ayckbourn.

BILTMORE:
Talley's Folly , written by by Lanford Wilson, directed by Doug Hughes and starring Cynthia Nixon as Sally Talley.
synopsis: Sally Talley, a plainspoken Missouri woman being romantically pursued by the persistent Matt Friedman. Talley�s Folly follows these two unlikely lovers in their hesitant dance toward the impossible: true love.
Absurd Person Singular, written by Alan Ayckbourn and directed by Lynne Meadow.
Synopsis: Three couples, three kitchens, three successive Christmas Eves: welcome to the world of Alan Ayckbourn�s comedy of social class and marriage on the rocks.
NY City Center:
World premiere of Rabbit Hole, written by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Daniel Sullivan.
Synopsis: The Corbetts have everything a family could want, until the day their world is turned upside down. In the aftermath of a tragic accident, a young husband and wife find themselves drifting perilously apart. Rabbit Hole charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places�and for a path that will lead them back up into the light of day.
New York Premiere of Beauty Of The Father, written by Nilo Cruz and directed by LMichael Greif.
Synopsis: A young woman travels to Spain to visit her estranged father and quickly becomes immersed in his vibrant, artistic world. But will a charming Moroccan suitor stand in the way of their reconciliation?
