Major Barbara at the Players Club

Gingold Theatrical Group's Poject Shaw presents a play reading of Major Barbara, by George Bernard Shaw, at The Players Club on 21 Jul 2008.

Major Barbara: Lady Britomart Undershaft is a woman determined that her children should be well provided for. Her estranged husband, Andrew Undershaft, (Michael Cumpsty), is a notorious millionaire armaments dealer who has not known his grown children since they were babies. Lady Brit brings them together with surprising results. His daughter Barbara is a devout major in the Salvation Army who refuses her father's funds and wants to marry a poor Greek scholar, Cusins.

Directed by David Staller, Major Barbara features Megan Mullally, Michael Cumpsty, Ana Reeder, Michael Esper, Matt Cavenaugh, Nikki Coble, Adam Feldman, Annie Golden, Merwin Goldsmith, John Keating, Lianne Kressin, Scott Schafer, Alexis Soloski and Emily Young.
