Jump on it! The hit stage show Magic Mike Live, created and directed by Channing Tatum, will make its NYC debut this fall, beginning performances October 8 ahead of an October 22 opening at a newly renovated, custom-built venue at 268 W. 47th St.

Magic Mike Live, also running continuously in Las Vegas and London, is adapted from the 2012 movie Magic Mike, which stars Tatum as a strip club headliner. The 90-minute live production offers audiences an interactive experience in a 360-degree format, with the performers dancing all around the audience and engaging with them throughout.

The NYC production will offer regular seating and premium Luxe Seating, which includes cocktails, exclusive Greenlight lounge access, a personal concierge, a cast meet and greet after the show, and more. Meet-and-greet add-on experiences are also available, and the venue will contain two nightlife spaces in addition to the performance venue: the Greenlight lounge and a smaller, hidden lounge curated by Tatum himself.

“Yes, there will be shirtless, attractive men dancing. Yes there will be bottomless prosecco. Yes there will be the Pony song,” a Magic Mike Live review on London Theatre reads. “But the evening of talent, dancing, and, honestly, joy and empowerment [...] is a feat of live entertainment.”

The cast includes Sebastian Melo Taivera as Mike and an ensemble featuring Charles Bartley, Kayla Brenda, Nate Bryan, Daniel Blessing, John Carlos Cabrera, Jayson Collantes, Shane Davis, Alexandre Deakin, Sebastian Gonzalez, Jhan Mena, Casey Sheehan, Ellena Takos, Marcus Vrondas, and Josh Williams. Additional casting is to be announced.

Tatum is a member of the show’s creative team, though he will not appear on stage in the show. Tatum co-created Magic Mike Live with Reid Carolin, and he co-directs alongside Alison Faulk. Faulk and Luke Broadlick co-choreograph.

“This all started as a crazy idea 10 years ago and look at it now,” said Tatum in a statement. “When we were coming up with the concept for our original show, we first came to the streets of New York City where I hid in a secret confession booth we set up in Midtown and asked women what they really want. Not just in a show, but in life. They shared some deeply powerful things. That insight helped us create our shows in Vegas, London and all over the world. With 10 years of experience and surrounding ourselves with a team of strong and creative women, we’re now coming back to where it all started in New York.”

Magic Mike Live also features associate direction by Luke Broadlick, music supervision and composition by Jack Rayner, production design by Rachel O’Toole, scenic design by Rob Bissinger and Anita La Scala, costume direction by Marina Toybina, aerial choreography by Dreya Weber, lighting design by Philip Gladwell, sound design by Nick Kourtides, and production supervision by Don Gilmore.
