Lives of the Saints by David Ives at Primary Stages

Primary Stages will continue its 30th anniversary season with Lives of the Saints, a world premiere collection of short plays by David Ives which will run at The Duke on 42nd Street from 3 February 2015 to 27 March 2015, with an official opening on 24 February 2015.

The collection, which includes three new pieces, is described by the venue as "a mixture of humour, intellect, and farce and is a transformative step in Mr. Ives' mastery of the one-act form."

The production will feature Arnie Burton, Carson Elrod, Rick Holmes, Kelly Hutchinson, and Liv Rooth.

Lives of the Saints will be directed by John Rando, a frequent collaborator of David Ives. It also features scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Anita Yavich, lighting design by Jason Lyons, sound design and original music by John Gromada and wig design by Tom Watson.

David Ives's writing credits include 'All in the Timing' and 'Venus in Fur'. Tony Award winner John Rando's previous credits include 'All in the Timing', 'On The Town', and 'Urinetown'.
