Kiss and Make Up at the Lucille Lortel Theatre
Fingers Crossed Productions presents Kiss and Make-Up, a musical comedy with book and lyrics by Kevin Hammonds, and music and lyrics by Mark Weiser, at the VLucille Lortel Theatre from 20 - 25 Aug 2007, as part of FringeNYC.
Kiss and Make-Up takes place on stage and off at a small community theater, where the rag-tag cast learns that the President of The United States is attending their premiere performance that very night. The news throws the leading lady into a tailspin, forcing the determined leading man (David Sabella-Mills) to 'go on with the show' by playing both the male and female leads. Full of slamming doors, mistaken identities, fraying nerves and men in dresses, this farce is a modern twist on the golden-era musical!
Directed and choreographed by Scott Thompson, Kiss and Make-Up stars David Sabella-Mills (Chicago), Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Tony nominee - Avenue Q), and Capathia Jenkins (Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me).
The cast also features Patti Perkins, Jeanne Tinker, Stanton Garr and Robert Rokicki.
