Kenny Rankin in Cabaret at Tribeca PAC

Tribeca Performing Arts Center at B.M.C.C. presents Kenny Rankin in cabaret on the 18 & 19 May 2006, the final installment of their Tribeca Cabaret series.

Kenny Rankin has a recording career that spans over three decades, Kenny Rankin has established himself as a songwriter, guitarist and singer. In the 60's, Rankin played guitar on Bob Dylan's landmark album 'Bringing It All Back Home.' Soon after, he performed on 'The Tonight Show' with Johnny Carson more than 20 times; and wrote hits such as 'In the Name of Love', recorded by Peggy Lee and 'Haven't We Met', recorded by both Carmen McRae and Mel Torme. In recent years, Rankin has concentrated on live performances of pop and jazz standards to sold-out audiences, including Wolf Trap in Virginia and the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.
