'Judy and Bea' at Helen's Hideaway Room now booking to the 29 Jul 2005


Judy and Bea: Two Dorothy's reunited...for the 1st time! Starring the Gender Illusionist team of Peter Mac as 'Judy Garland' and John Schaefer as 'Bea Arthur' at Helen's Hideaway Room on Friday's. The show, which was to close on the 15 Apr, is now booking to the 29 Jul 2005

Peter Mac and John Schaefer (a couple in real life) take to the stage as the legendary rainbow diva and as the loveable golden girl. In this new musical cabaret show Garland and Arthur regale audiences with songs and stories of their days on stage and screen, as well as a bevy of musical surprises such as "The Man In The Moon".

The show as a guest appearance by Nancy Barrett on Fri 18 Mar, 25 Mar, 1 Apr & 8 Apr. Ms Barrett will tell stories and sing songs relevant to her experiences on 'Dark Shadows' as well as her journey to today

Peter Mac first took to the stage as Garland in his autobiographical play "Judy and Me". John Schaefer filled Arthur's sizeable shoes in the smash hit, "The Golden Girls: LIVE!". Though never having once worked, met, or spent any time together...Garland and Arthur prove to be true Bosom Buddies!
