Him: Primary Stages announces cast

Primary Stages have announced the full cast for their world premiere production of Daisy Foote's Him, opening at 59E59 Theater A on 9 Oct 2012, following previews from 25 Sep 2012, and running through to 28 Oct 2012.

This production, the second of Primary Stages' 28th season will feature Tony Award nominee Hallie Foote ('Harrison, TX...,' 'Dividing the Estate'), Tim Hopper ('Present Laughter,' 'The Dying Gaul,' 'Steppenwolf'), Adam LeFevre ('The Doctor's Dilemma') and Adina Verson ('The Winter's Tale' at Yale Rep).

The production will be helmed by Evan Yionoulis, who won an Obie Award for his work on the 'Violet Hour,' and who directed Richard Greenberg's 'Three Days of Rain' on Broadway.

Him: Two siblings struggling to keep the family store afloat must decide which is a priority: their father's final wishes or their financial stability. It's a choice that could tear them apart.

The play features a scenic design by Marion Williams, costume design by Teresa Snider-Stein, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, and original music and sound design by Broken Chord.

The play is the second production in the Primary Stages celebration of the Foote family legacy, following 'HARRISON, TX: Three Plays by Horton Foote.' The production, which also features Hallie Foote, runs through to 15 Sep at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters.
