'Here Lies Love' sets full Broadway cast
The David Byrne and Fatboy Slim musical about the rise and fall of Imelda and Ferdinand Marcos features the first all-Filipino company in Broadway history.
Here Lies Love recounts a true era of history: Imelda Marcos's rise to power alongside her husband, former Filipino president Ferdinand Marcos, and their eventual fall amid the People Power Revolution. The musical tells their story with disco music by David Byrne (of the Talking Heads) and Fatboy Slim, and presents it in an immersive setting, with the Broadway Theatre transformed into a dance club where the actors perform among the audience.
