The Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway transfer of Simon Stephen's drama Heisenberg has extended its limited engagement at Broadway's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre by one week, through to 11 December 2016. Previews began on 20 September, ahead of an official opening scheduled for 13 October 2016.

The production stars Tony and Emmy Award winner Mary-Louise Parker (Georgie) and Dennis Ardnt (Alex) and is directed by Drama Desk Award winner Mark Brokaw.

Synopsis: "Amidst the bustle of a crowded London train station, Clare spots Alex, a much older man, and plants a kiss on his neck. This electric encounter thrusts these two strangers into a fascinating and life-changing game. Heisenberg brings to life the uncertain and often comical sparring match that is human connection."

The creative team behind Heisenberg features scenic design by Mark Wendland, costumes by Michael Krass, lighting design by Donald Holder, and original music & sound design by David Van Tieghem.

Heisenberg staged its World Premiere at New York City Center's Stage II from 19 May to 18 July 2015, opening off-Broadway to positive reviews with many praising the cast and writing.
