Heartless: cast announced for Sam Shephard play

Signature Theatre have announced the complete cast for their world premiere production of Sam Shepard's Heartless, opening at the Signature Center's Irene Diamond Stage on 27 Aug 2012, following previews from 7 Aug 2012, and closing on 16 Sep 2012.

Directed by Daniel Aukin, the cast will feature Jenny Bacon, Gary Cole, Betty Gilpin, Julianne Nicholson and Lois Smith.

Heartless: Sally lives with her mysterious family in a cavernous home overlooking Los Angeles. When a visitor arrives, Sally's dark secrets - and the secrets of those around her - threaten to come into the light.

The design team includes Eugene Lee (Scenic Designer), Kaye Voyce (Costume Designer), Tyler Micoleau (Lighting Designer) and Eric Shimelonis (Sound Designer).

Tickets go on sale to the general public on 10 Jul 2012.
