God Of Carnage: Yasmina Reza's comedy currently playing in London, plans to play Broadway in 2009

David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers, the London producers of Yasmina Reza's comedy God Of Carnage, currently playing on London's West End, plan to bring the show to Broadway in 2009.

The comedy is directed by Matthew Warchus and features: Ralph Fiennes, Tamsin Greig, Janet McTeer and Ken Stott

God of Carnage, opened at London's Gielgud Theatre on 25 March 2008, following previews from 7 March 2008.

The comedy received good notices from the popular press: "God Of Carnage doesnt stimulate much thought, but it certainly provokes rueful laughter." (Evening Standard); "Witty translation...deft production." (Guardian), "A crackling night of electrifying comic acting." (Daily Telegraoh) and "Tense, edgy and funny..." (The Times).

Although the show has paid back its entire 525,000 capitalization in a record-breaking six weeks, the show will close at the end of its scheduled 14-week limited season at the Gielgud Theatre on 14 June 2008.

God of Carnage: What happens when two sets of parents meet up to deal with the unruly behaviour of their children. A calm and rational debate between grown ups about the need to teach kids how to behave properly? Or a hysterical night of name calling, tantrums and tears before bedtime? Boys will be boys, but the adults are usually worse - much worse.
