Walking With Ghosts, Tony nominee Gabriel Byrne's latest stage show, has set an early Broadway closing date. Originally scheduled to run through December 30, Walking With Ghosts will now play its final performance at the Music Box Theatre on November 20.

Walking With Ghosts began Broadway performances on October 18. Byrne's show is adapted from his same-named 2020 memoir, in which he shares stories of the "ghosts" — the people, places, and memories from his past – that shaped him and stick with him even today. He talks about his childhood in a bygone Ireland, his experience immigrating to America, his views on fame, and more.

The Walking With Ghosts book was a bestseller, and Byrne previously performed the show to acclaim in London and Dublin before bringing it to New York. A New York Theatre Guide review of Walking With Ghosts reads, "Byrne is an able and appealing yarn-spinner. He summons a few various characters with a deft gesture or vocal shift."

Byrne is best known for his Golden Globe-winning role as Paul Weston in In Treatment and his Tony Award-nominated Broadway performances in Long Day's Journey into Night and A Moon for the Misbegotten. His 80-plus film credits include Excalibur, Hereditary, The Man in the Iron Mask, Little Women, and Vanity Fair.
