The cast includes Swoosie Kurtz (Nancy), Brian F. O'byrne (Ralph), Laila Robins (Agnetha). It is directed by Doug Hughes, with design by Hugh Landwehr. Frozen originally opened 11 Mar 2004 at East 13th Street Theater where it ran to 11 Apr 2004 before transferring to The Circle In The Square on 28 Apr 2004 Frozen won the 1998 Barclays Award for Best New Play in its original production at Birmingham Repertory Theatre (UK), and later received its critically acclaimed London premiere at Royal National Theatre in July 2002. One sunny evening, 10-year-old Rhona goes missing. Her mother, Nancy, retreats into a state of frozen hope. Agnetha, an American academic comes to England to research a thesis Serial Killing - a forgivable act? Then there's Ralph, a loner with a bit of previous who's looking for some distraction... Drawn together by horrific circumstances, these three embark upon a long dark journey which finally curves upward into the light.
