'Fools In Love' at the Wings Theatre



Fools in Love, a musical based on Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', opens at the Wings Theatre on the 21 Mar 2005, following previews from the 10 Mar. The show is scheduled to close on the 9 Apr 2005.

Fools in Love is produced by Millennium Talent Group, with a cast of eighteen. The two loving couples in this new production are portrayed by Erika Villalba as 'Hermia' and Matt Schuneman as 'Lysander', with Annelise Abrams as 'Helena' and Antony Raymond as 'Demetrius'. 'Titiana', queen of the fairies is played by Margaret Curry and her 'Oberon' is Andy Langton. The incorrigible role of Puck is portrayed by Brandy Wykes.

Sarah Rosenberg adapted and directed the production and Louis Reyes Cardenas is the choreographer. Costume design is by Tom Claypool with set design by Bruce Dean.

Erika Villalba has appeared in 'The Machinal,' 'Love at Central Park,' and 'Don Perlimplin'. Matt Schuneman has worked with the Camden Shakespeare Company and has appeared in 'Othello', 'You're a Good Man Charlie Brown', and most recently 'Metropolitan Operas.' Annelise Abrams has appeared in such plays as 'The Fantastiks', and 'Madame Butterfly.' Antony Raymond was last seen in 'My Big Gay Italian Wedding' at the Actor's Playhouse. Margaret Curry is a seasoned cabaret performer and has appeared in 'Fascist Living' for The Flea Theatre. Andrew Langton has performed in such productions as 'Metropolitan Operas' and 'The Tempest.' Brandy Wykes has appeared in several television shows, including 'One Life to Live' and 'Sex in the City' and has been seen on the stage in 'Girlstown' at Theatre for the New City.
