Foggy Bottom at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre

Abingdon Theatre Company presents Foggy Bottom, by James Armstrong, opening at Abingdon's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre on 10 Sep 2006, following previews from 2 Sep and running through to 24 Sep 2006.

In Foggy Bottom a philandering mid-level State Department bureaucrat, pretending to be the Assistant Secretary of State, promises one green card to three illegal aliens, all beautiful young women. When the three women show up at his office on the same night to cash in on his promise, farcical hilarity ensues...and then a fourth woman arrives, with an entirely different plan in store for him.

Directed by Rob Urbinati, Foggy Bottom features Jeremy Beiler, Denise Bessette, Dan Cordle, Susanna Guzman, Jo Mei, Maya Wampuszyc and Richard Zekaria.

Set design is by Gabriel Hainer Evansohn, with costumes by Susan Scherer and lighting by Carl Faber.
