Flight of the Lawnchair Man at 37 Arts Theatre


Beth Dembrow and Luigi Productions presents Flight of the Lawnchair Man, music and lyrics by Robert Lindsey-Nassif, book by Peter Ullian, at 37 Arts Theatre from 12 - 18 Sep 2006 as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Flight of the Lawnchair Man: Meet Jerry Gorman. He's a regular guy from Passaic, New Jersey who just wants to fly. The neighbors think he's nuts. His mother disapproves Gracie (Champlin) is the only one who believes in him.

Directed and choreographed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Flight of the Lawnchair Man features Donna Lynne Champlin (Gracie), Christopher Sutton (Jerry Gorman), Patrick Boll (Big Jack), Jonathan Brody (Leonardo Da Vinci), John Michael Coppola (Reporter), William Gilinksky (Mr. Frankel), Danette Holden (Blaire), Susan J. Jacks (Mother Gorman), Erin Maguire (Paris Boy/Amelia Earhart), Kristie Dale Sanders (FAA Agent) and Christopher Vettel (Charles Lindbergh).

Set and costume design by Walt Spangler, with lighting by Jason Kantrowitz and sound by Ken Travis.
