Falling to play final performance on 30 Dec 2012



The Off-Broadway premiere of Deanna Jent's Falling will play its final performance on 30 Dec 2012, having played 80 performances and 21 previews.

Falling opened at the Minetta Lane Theatre on 15 Oct 2012, following previews from 27 Sep 2012.

The drama opened to mostly good reviews: Sobering and affecting (NY Daily News); Packs a powerful punch (NY Post); Fascinating play ... a stellar production (Back Stage); Packs plenty of heartbreak (Newsroom Jersey).

Falling follows an autistic 18-year-old named Josh. When a relative comes to visit, his entire family is thrown off their equilibrium, with each member trying to balance what is best for the family with their own personal interests.

Directed by Lori Adams, the cast stars Julia Murney (Tami), Daniel Everidge (Josh), Celia Howard (Grammy Sue), Daniel Pearce (Bill) and Jacey Powers (Lisa).

The creative team features sets by John C. Stark, costumes by Tristan Raines, lighting by Julie Mack and sound by Raymond Schilke.
