The York Theatre Company has announced the cast for the return engagement of its acclaimed production of Enter Laughing: The Musical, playing at The Theatre at Saint Peter's for a limited seven-week engagement from 21 Jan - 8 Mar 2009.

Stuart Ross will once again direct Josh Grisetti as 'David Kolowitz,' Jill Eikenberry as 'Mother,' Michael Tucker as 'Father.' along with Paul Binotto as 'Don', Ray DeMattis (Foreman), Erick Devine (Pike), Betsy DiLellio, Gerry McIntyre, Robb Sapp as 'Marvin,' Emily Shoolin as 'Wanda,' Allison Spratt as 'Miss B' and Matt Castle as 'Roger.'

New to the cast are Bob Dishy as 'Marlowe' and Marla Schaffel as 'Angela,' roles that where originally played by George S. Irving and Janine LaManna, respectively.

Enter Laughing, score by Stan Daniels and libretto by Joseph Stein, based on the play (and the movie by Stein and Reiner), is set in 1930s New York City, where nothing will keep aspriring actor David Kolowitz from his dreams of Broadway stardomnot his overly protective parents, not his demanding girlfriends and certainly not his severe lack of talent!

Enter Laughing played on Broadway in 1976 as 'So Long 174th Street,' starring Robert Morse.
